Recent U of G grad Aleana Chao is doing just that – turning her passion for science and food into an exciting career in product development!
Aleana graduated in 2022 from OAC’s Food Science (co-op) program, where she explored food innovation firsthand – like developing the Cannonfire hot sauce and working on projects with food industry partners.
These experiences helped turn her passion into an exciting career as a food product developer at Chudleigh’s Bakery. Aleana brainstorms, creates, pitches and scales up new, tasty treats for retail and consumer markets.
